How to search for print books

Step by step instruction on searching for a book within the library collection:

Library of Congress (LC) Call Number

The online catalog of J. Conrad Dunagan Library is a rich collection of resources. You may go to the library catalog/Falcon Serach and find print books organized by the Library of Congress (LC) Call Number, which is a classification system created by Library of Congress and used for resource organizations in all US libraries and some other countries.

Library Map

The Library map helps you locate the print items inside the library by Call Number. When you find an item within the library collection, the library system/Falcon Finder gives you the Call Number and the location of the item in the library:

 

Now, you know the Call Number and the location of the book, then, by just looking at the library map , you are able to locate the book, and take it to the services desk to check out.
